π [Reflection & Progress] Day 3 – Week 3 Review & Mindset Shift
π§ Reflection
This week was different from the last two.
I started to feel more comfortable with the overall study routine.
English felt a little less like a task and more like a part of my day.
One of the biggest realizations was that understanding comes first, but speaking confidence takes longer.
During an all-English meeting, I could follow the discussion clearly, but when I was asked a question, I hesitated.
That moment showed me that passive knowledge is not enoughβI need to practice thinking and responding in English.
Writing continues to be the most helpful activity.
It gives me a space to reflect, organize my thoughts, and build accurate sentences.
Iβve also noticed that phrases I write tend to come to mind more easily when I try to speak.

π― Next Weekβs Plan
1. Add a short shadowing session after each speaking practice.
2. Focus on reusing phrases from my own writing when speaking.
3. Try to answer at least one interview question aloud each day.
4. Keep a micro-diary in English every evening (3β5 sentences).
5. Use one new DevOps term in Slack, email, or casual chat.
